Even before its release Black Panther is making waves, It has already broken box office records.Its first day advance ticket sales has skyrocketed beating even “Captain America: Civil War”. It has become Fandango’s top-selling superhero movie in history by beating  “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice”. Wesley Snipes was the first  person who wanted to  work on a Black Panther film in 1992 but never came to fruition.

Black Panther is Marvel’s 18th movie. Marvel is owned by Disney and has made $13.5 billion at the global box office over the past 10 years. Black Panther may be the first  movie to have an African-American director and a predominantly black cast. Hollywood has never produced a black blockbuster this Marvelous,.The film is directed by Ryan Coogler, screenplay is by him and Joe Robert Cole, and stars Chadwick Boseman as T'Challa / Black Panther, alongside Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong'o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker, and Andy Serkis.


Black Panther’s release comes at a time where Hollywood is undergoing turbulent moments due to gender bias and racial discrimination. Black Panther is set to prove that an all black movie can also garner profits and interest audience of all types. Such a movie representing black culture was long overdue. Making movies about Afro-Americans show that they are as important as any other race or color. Black Panther has outnumbered other Hollywood movies in reaching out to other cultures too.  


The Black Panther wave has engulfed everyone. It has generated so much interest that many  excited fans have planned special group outings and  crowdfunding campaigns for underprivileged kids to watch it.


“Black Panther” is turning out to be a phenomenon.A  video  went viral in December in which  two African-American men seemed extremely excited to see the movie’s poster with its all-star black cast — “This is what white people get to feel like ALL THE TIME?!!!!” one man wrote on Twitter— this video garnered more than 2.5 million views.


Black Panther had its premiere in Los Angeles on January 29, 2018, and will be released in the United States on February 16, 2018, in IMAX and 3D. It has received rave reviews for its  direction, costume design, action sequences, and also for the performances of the cast.


The characters in the movie are complex. There are both good and bad characters and each role will surely captivate the attention of the audience. This is a kind of film in which a lot of colored people will be able to see themselves in. Many people are excited about this film throughout the world because it depicts the African perspective,


This movie with great locations, fantastic action sequels and fight scenes with a narrative which is compelling a d focussed on family will surely leave a mark on the audience.
