Here’s Why Rebel Wilson’s ‘Isn’t It Romantic’ Appears to Be Entertaining

The official trailer of ‘Isn’t It Romantic’ is out and from the looks of it; the movie seems to be an entertaining film with loads of comedy. The flick is an American-Australian romantic fantasy comedy which has been directed by Todd Strauss-Schulson. The film stars Rebel Wilson who plays the lead, Liam Hemsworth, Adam DeVine, and our very own Priyanka Chopra.
Rebel Wilson stars as Natalie who is an architect and is living in New York City. She’s a critic of love and absolutely despises rom-coms defining them to be a fantasy. Going by the trailer, it looks like she imbibed this false notion about love from an elderly woman who explains to her that unlike Julia Roberts in ‘Pretty Woman’, ordinary looking women don’t have fairytale endings. Natalie’s life, however, takes a major turn when she’s mugged by a thief in a subway. While trying to flee, she accidentally gets knocked down, and when she wakes up life isn’t the same anymore.
Natalie now has entered a different world where she’s trapped in a PG 13 rom-com movie and who else could be the leading lady other than her. Everything seems different to Natalie. Her apartment is now spaced and much more luxurious than before. She has the best wardrobe in the world and she’s the owner of every shoe she ever dreamt of. Initially, Natalie feels overwhelmed and starts panicking experiencing all these changes in her life.
Later on, Natalie begins to enjoy her new life wherein she gets entangled in a love triangle when Liam Hemsworth’s character enters. There is only one catch. Natalie must escape tricky situations and she must find her way around that will lead her to fall in love. And once that’s achieved, the happy ending will help her to escape the virtual trap and help her to get back to reality.
The movie aims to spread the message of loving oneself first and also emphasizes that when it comes to all things Cupid, looks don’t always matter. PeeCee has bagged a few scenes in this rom-com and reports suggest that she’s playing Isabella, a Yoga ambassador. Circulating pictures of Chopra indicate that she’s had a pretty good time on the sets of ‘Isn’t It Romantic’ and enjoyed herself with co-stars Rebel Wilson, Adam Devine and Liam Hemsworth.
‘Isn’t It Romantic’ which is about all things romantic is unquestionably going to hit theatres in the month of February 2019.
