Infy Completes Acquisition Of WONGDOODY, US

NYSE-listed Infosys, a transnational leader in consulting, technology and next-generation services, has completed the acquisition process for taking over WONGDOODY, a US-based, full-service creative and consumer insights agency, top company officials said. Infosys has concluded the acquisition for a consideration of up to $75,040,000, which also included conditional deferred consideration and employee retention amounts, they added. Incidentally, the acquisition is in accordance with the terms set out in the agreement announced by the company on April 13, 2018.

WONGDOODY is an award-winning creative agency with studios in Seattle and Los Angeles and the acquisition of WONGDOODY is expected to bring in Infosys, globally recognized creative talent and deep marketing and brand engagement expertise.

According to senior Infy officials, following the acquisition of WONGDOODY, the Indian origin tech major is hoping to enhance its digital experience services ecosystem with services ranging from strategy, design and user experience, to creative and digital marketing across the customer experience value chain.

The buying out of WONGDOODY would also help Infosys expand its worldwide network of digital studios which in turn would fulfill the needs of global clients for comprehensive digital transformation solutions required to meet customer demand for next-generation and would also offer enhanced customer experiences.
