Meghan and Harry's Secret Trip to Toronto

Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex now knows how to maintain her life private. This is evident from her recent trip to Toronto with husband Prince Harry to meet her best friend and style consultant Jessica Mulroney. The trip was kept secret until after a few days everyone got to know about the couple's first trip outside England.

The secret trip was made before the couple Meghan Markle and Prince Harry was planning to take off for their romantic honeymoon. The couple flew together on a commercial flight to meet her friend.

The three days short trip was, what is heard is a light-hearted trip, a cool family trip were both the friends and their family are found to be cooking and playing together. According to ABC, “Meghan spent three days holed up at Jessica Mulroney and her husband Ben's home in Toronto. They spent their days catching up, cooking together and, of course, playing with Jessica's children, who love their 'Auntie Meg”.

Jessica Mulroney is a fashion stylist who also hosts the television show City Line, is one of the closest friends of Meghan Markle. In May this year, Mulroney and her husband attended Meghan Markle’s wedding to Prince Harry. During the wedding, Mulroney not only helped her friend get glamorous for her wedding day, but her 7-year-old twin sons served as the page boys, while her 4-year-old daughter was a bridesmaid for Meghan.

During this short trip, the friends also did not just spend their days staying indoors. According to the ABC report, Meghan and Mulroney also hit the town and caught up with some of their other friends. “There was one evening when Meghan and Jessica secretly headed out into the town to meet some of Meghan’s good friends”.

Meghan lived in Toronto, during the shooting of her film “Suits” in 2011. There she met this stylist friend, just after moving to the city to film the USA series. 

It was also with the Mulroney couple, that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry made the first joint public appearance, when they altogether attended the closing ceremony of the 2017 Invictus Games at the Air Canada Centre, Toronto, on September 30, 2017.

After returning from the small vacation, the Duchess is back to business. She joined her husband, Prince Harry, for a special gala performance of “Hamilton” with the show’s creator, Lin-Manuel Miranda.
