Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas Share First Photograph of Their Daughter

On the occasion of Mother’s Day, Priyanka Chopra shared a photograph of their newly born daughter Malti Marie. 

In the photograph, she can be seen holding her daughter close to her while her husband Nick Jonas can be seen keenly admiring her. 

The face of the baby has been blurred by a white heart. 

Baby Malti Marie is back home after spending 100 plus days in the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit). 

The journey hasn’t been easy for the new parents who welcomed Malti through surrogacy. Needless to say, Baby Malti’s long stay in the hospital must have been a challenging experience for Priyanka and Nick. 

Even after the birth of the baby, they chose not to reveal details or share many photographs of her. 

It is heartwarming and inspiring  to see the parents stand by each other and support each other in this new and different phase of their lives. 

Priyanka has expressed in the post that the past few months have been a rollercoaster ride for them and she also rightly pointed out that she understands now how many parents go through similar painful ordeals. 

Despite the hurdles, the actress has exhibited strength and gratitude by saying: “Every family’s journey is unique and requires a certain level of faith, and while ours was a challenging few months, what becomes abundantly clear, in retrospect, is how precious and perfect every moment is.”

Nick Jonas on his part has given Priyanka the best gift ever on Mother’s day by appreciating the manner she has taken up this new role effortlessly. 

He showered her with these lines, “Babe, you inspire me, and every way, and you are taking to this new role with such ease and steadiness. I am so grateful to be on this journey with you. You are already an incredible mother. Happy Mother’s Day. I love you.”

Priyanka’s cousin Parineeti Chopra has also chimed in and offered her sister a few encouraging and inspiring words, “ “Seeing the both of you like this the last three months has been both hard and inspiring. Mimi didi – I saw a soldier in the hospital – You. And little BD has taught us so much already and she doesn’t even know it! Chalo now time to start spoiling her.”

With so much love and support all around we are sure that Nick and Priyanka would make wonderful parents to Malti Marie as they embark on this new and adventurous journey.
