The Big Bang Theory to have Bill Gates as Star Guest

The sitcom “The Big Bang Theory”  will be having Bill Gates, the Microsoft founder as its star guest in one of its episodes which be aired end of March. The geeky characters will be in for a treat. Bill gates will be star as himself and our tech-savvy characters will be truly thrilled to have such a great star on their sets.  

It is a norm for the popular sitcom to bring in popular figures from the field of science, technology, engineering and mathematics. People who have already appeared as guest stars are Apple's Steve Wozniak, Stephen Hawking, astronaut Buzz Aldrin; Star Trek’s Leonard Nimoy and George Takei; Star Wars' Carrie Fisher and James Earl Jones and Star Trek: The Next Generation's  Wil Wheaton to name a few.

In the sitcom as mentioned earlier, Bill Gates will be playing himself. In the episode, the 62 year old will be attending a function in the pharmaceutical company where Penny played by Kaley Cuoco will be the host. When the rest of the get to know of it , they go to great lengths to meet the VIP. Penny’s  husband Leonard, played by Johnny Galecki;Howard played by  Simon Helberg; Sheldon, played by Jim Parsons and Raj, played by Kunal Nayyar try their best  to meet the Microsoft founder.

Bill Gates has already made an appearance in an episode titled ”The Toast Derivation” in the fourth season. In that particular episode after Gates gave speech, Sheldon met him and said if he weren’t so distracted by sick children in Africa,then probably he could've put a little more thought into Windows Vista. All this was being told to Priya, Raj’s  sister by Raj, Leonard and Howard. Gates has also appeared in other sitcoms as a guest star. He appeared as himself in the 200th  episode of  "Frasier" in a 2001. In this episode, he was interviewed by Frasier on his Seattle based radio show.

“The Big Bang Theory” will be aired on 1st March, 2018. lt is in its 10th season and two more seasons are in progress.
