She ventures out every night to hunt for its prey and 60% of her hunts are successful which is the highest success rate when compared to any other cat. She can walk 20 miles a night in search for her prey. The mother and her kitten were found in the Karoo desert in South Africa. Her victims are birds, scorpions, gerbils, rodents and so on.

The researchers fitted a radio collar on her, and captured the moment when she caught a lark at night. This cat’s movements are fast, and she’s great with her timing when it comes to capturing her prey.
