The Conjuring Universe has released ‘Annabelle Comes Home’ trailer and it does feature multiple shocking moments along with Ed and Lorraine Warren, characters inspired from real life paranormal investigator couple. Sequel of ‘Annabelle’ (2014) and ‘Annabelle: Creation’ (2017), the trailer although is a hooker, not to be tagged astounding!
Horror fanatics must rejoice, for the third installment of the cursed ‘Annabelle’ doll film series is just around the corner. A doll possessed by a young girl’s soul, named Annabelle, gets some room in Ed and Lorraine Warren’s Occult Museum. The couple made it a routine collecting one object of curse from every case they dealt with. They might have thought, the world will be safer with the cursed objects inside their museum. However, ‘Annabelle Comes Home’ proves it otherwise.
A friend of Ed and Lorraine Warren’s daughter takes a sneak peek into the Occult Museum and out of curiosity touches every collectible there. Well, generally touching museum artifacts without permission is an offence and this girl literally plays with fire at this anomalous place of exhibition. And this curiosity turns fatal, as evil spirits are awakened by the intrusion and the dead Annabelle’s evil soul returns!

The trailer is as per the contemporary horror film trailer standards, and the occasional shockers and evil giggling in the backdrop, add to the entire ambiance of terror. But whether the film would be able to keep up with the heights of fright it promises, is questionable!
Its prequel ‘Annabelle’ failed to meet audience expectations, and so is ‘The Nun’ (2018). Another spin-off from The Conjuring Universe ‘The Nun’ was able to earn only 5.9 at IMDB ratings, even after diverse and smart promotional strategies.
