Indian Supermodel Milind Soman recently shared an impressive photograph on Wednesday in which he is seen running underwater with a 12 kg backpack. In the photograph, the 53-year-old model and fitness enthusiast appeared fit as a fiddle!
He was preparing for a dive in Iceland. Captioning the photo he wrote, “Running with a 12 kg backpack underwater while preparing for the dive in Iceland 10 days ago. Anything is possible with the right preparation, even a free dive in water that is 2 degrees Celsius. Understand your goal and fix your priority, objective will be achievable! Do what it takes.”

For those unaware Milind Soman was always into sports. He was an international level swimmer. He represented the state of Maharashtra at various levels and went on to represent India at the inaugural South Asian Games where he acquired the silver medal.
He’s the ambassador of ‘Pinkathon’ – India’s women-only marathon. He’s also a Limca record holder for running 1500 km in 30 days for Greenathon.
Milind has been an unconventional model known more for his modern outlook towards life. He married Ankita Konwar- a young Assamese woman in April last year. The news of their marriage was splashed all over media as Milind was 26 years older than his new Assamese wife thereby breaking the stereotype that age is an important factor when it comes to marriage. Ankita Konwar was a cabin crew executive with Air Asia.
