‘Aquaman’ Poster Featuring Jason Momoa Surfaced, DC’s Ready to Take Its Success Dive

Hotbod Jason Momoa is only a few months away from making his screen debut as ‘Aquaman’ in its origin film. The ‘Game of Thrones’ celeb although had an appearance in the 2017 movie ‘Justice League’, is fetching good market hype for his December scheduled big screen flick.

The poster has been garnering good reviews so far, some appreciated the use of naturalistic colors that are bright and catchy. I would rather like to term it as a 'mesmerizing blue'! And leading man Jason Momoa positioned in the center with his Trident, surrounded by the oceanly beings is captivating.

DC, expectedly is following a well-etched strategy this time, after its series box-office disappointments with its superhero biggies. The only exception being ‘Wonder Woman’ (2017) starring the leggy beauty Gal Gadot that turned out to be the highest grossing superhero origin film. The Amazon Princess was quite able to push behind the 2002’s ‘Spider-Man’ featuring Tobey Maguire. Women Power… I always believed in it!

Director James Wan also has allowed all of us to peek inside ‘Aquaman’s post-production studio, via a Twitter post, yesterday:

And there’s one more good news for all Superhero freaks. The first trailer of ‘Aquaman’ will be splashing on the market shore this Saturday, July 21.

The ‘Aquaman’ story plot revolves around a character named Arthur Curry who leads his underwater kingdom, Atlantis, in a battle against the surface dwellers who ravage the sea-life with sheer cruelty.

Actors in other important roles in ‘Aquaman’ include, Nicole Kidman as Atlanna, Amber Heard as Mera, Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko, Patrick Wilson as Ocean Master, among others.

The DC Extended Universe film will be released in the US by Warner Bros.
