‘Bala’ Official Trailer Makes You ROFL, Ayushmann Khurrana Strives with Baldness in This Satirical Comedy

Right from the Bollywood ‘Dream Girl’ to bald ‘Bala’, what a transformation for Ayushmann Khurrana! And the man is back with yet another comic drama that deals with the social obsession with physical attributes...err… beauty! 

The ‘Bala’ official trailer dropped today will shake you with laughter, thanks to Ayushmann’s stupendous comic timing and ripping body language as a lean and average commoner.

One important observation, Ayushmann’s body frame looks way way slender, relative to how we are used to seeing him, in general. Now, it’s hard to guess whether it’s VFX magic or the actor has gone through a body transformation in reality! As his makeup portrayal of a prematurely bald individual in the film, is very much convincing!

The film casts two leading ladies, Bhumi Pednekar, who is apparently finding it hard to get a groom as the nation is preoccupied with a woman’s outward fairness. Yami Gautam, plays a young woman with conventional beauty and loves creating self videos on social media. Ayushmann Khuranna’s Gaurav Rawat, on the other hand, leaves no stone unturned to get rid of his acute hair loss and premature baldness issues, and in the meantime gets rejected by potential dates, as scalp hair is quite a crucial parameter for falling in love!

‘Bala’, although promises to make us roll on the floor laughing, yet, it gives a strong notion of exposing the dark social vices which affect the day to day lives of social animals like us. The satirical black comedy sheds light on the average human psychology regarding dating, marriage and relationships. Appearance over mind and character, ‘Bala’ is all set to unfurl and ridicule the follies we have been living on and in for generations.
