‘Joker’: Joaquin Phoenix Wins Best Actor, Golden Globe, and This is What His Speech was Like!

This wasn’t unpredictable at all, everyone saw this coming, and now you must be putting on a happy face! Joaquin Phoenix takes home the Best Actor award in motion picture, drama for his impassioned and intoxicating performance that was almost like a storm surge across the globe.

I'll just never forget, right after watching #Joker and Arthur Fleck shoots Murray Franklin in the face, I sat across from Joaquin Phoenix (and Todd Phillips).

He did his Joker laugh and I was so uncomfortable. Like, shit, is he about to kill me?
