A bizarre festive robbery took place in Colorado Springs, and the accused mugger went out of the way in making the headlines.
It was a usual Monday afternoon lunchtime at the Academy Bank, when David Wayne Oliver popped up and sources tell, he threatened one of the bank employees with a weapon demanding cash.
Well now, there’s a twist in the tale. As Mr. Wayne went past the bank gate he started throwing the money on street, yelling, “Merry Christmas”!
“He started throwing the money out of the bag and said ‘Merry Christmas!’...so everyone picked it up and gave it back to the teller. “

Ho Ho Ho! Looks like Wayne was in no mood for becoming the Grinch and believes in giving so much!
However, the bystanders picked up Wayne’s Christmas shower and returned it to the bank.
Wayne has been taken into custody by the police. But never mind Wayne, have a Very Merry Christmas!!!
