22 Hours to Just 10 Hours, This Is the Most-Awaited Expressway of India

The most-awaited expressway is all set to be opened, which will drastically reduce the time by more than 12 hours. Earlier, travelling from Delhi to Mumbai would take more than 22 hours of driving. However, with the development and planning of the new road, the travel time will be reduced significantly. Both cities have a strong economy, and the exchange of goods is quite high. This has been called for a need for road infrastructure that can ease the economy and help in the easy exchange of goods.

The expressway is one of a kind, as there are many sustainable measures made to ensure eco-friendly practices. The Highway is all set to connect six states, which will further help in enhancing the exchange of trade. The highway is almost stretched for 1380 kilometers which will help in the movement of trucks, buses, and cars. In many expressways, heavy vehicles are prohibited. However, in this case, even the heavy vehicles will be allowed.

The highway is made for eight lanes and can accommodate a maximum speed of 100 kmph. The infrastructure is built with eco-friendly products, which are sure to enhance its longevity. Moreover, a chunk of modern-day amenities have been introduced, which will serve the people travelling through the expressway. A major stretch of the highway has opened, because of which benefits commuters are being benefited the most. The stretch till Kota of Rajasthan has reduced the overall travel time by less than 10 hours, allowing free and easy movement of the people.

The expressway not just guarantees a faster travel time but also saves a lot of fuel for the people, as there will be minimal traffic engagement in the stretch, leading to enhanced traffic flow and reaching the destination faster and safer. The estimated cost of the expressway was close to 95,000 crore, and it is being built in phases, which will connect 6 major cities such as Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, and Maharashtra. Once the highway is complete, it will be one of the most important trade routes in India, which is also one of the most advanced.
