Aaron Carter’s Memoir ‘An Incomplete Story Of An Incomplete Life’ Slated for Release in Few Days

The incomplete memoir of late singer Aaron Carter on which he was working at the time of his death is slated for release in November 2015. 

Aaron Carter tragically passed away in his Lancaster home in California. He was only 34. His body was found in a bathtub by his housekeeper. The cause of his death is still under investigation. 

The book Aaron Carter: An Incomplete Story Of An Incomplete Life will cover the singer’s relationship with his brother Nick Carter from Backstreet Boys, his drug use and his mental health struggles. 

Author Andy Symonds has penned this biography. 

“Aaron was an open book during the writing process,” author Symonds said in a statement. “It’s a tragic irony that his autobiography will never include all his stories, thoughts, hopes, and dreams as he intended.”

He told Symonds, “I remember locking myself in the bathroom of one of our hotel rooms and falling asleep in the bathtub because I needed more sleep.”

“My mom broke down the door, afraid I was drowning in there.” 

The book also reveals that making music was what saved his life over the years as the singer had suicidal tendencies however he didn’t have someone to confide to over this matter. 

Coming to Nick Carter, he referred to him as his “hero from about the time I could walk. He was eight years older than me, and aside from all the standard, cool big brother stuff, he also just happened to be in the biggest boy band in the world, doing exactly what I wanted to do. And he was happy to take me under his wing from early on.”

Aaron’s ex Hillary Duff has blasted the publishing company Ballash Books for using an “inappropriate time” to release his memoir. 

“It's really sad that within a week of Aaron's death there's a publisher that seems to be recklessly pushing a book out to capitalise on this tragedy without taking appropriate time or care to fact check the validity of his work”, said  the star in a statement. 

On Thursday, Aaron’s management team thanked Hillary Duff in a statement. 

“In the few short days following our dear friend's passing we have been trying to grieve and process while simultaneously having to deal with obscenely disrespectful and unauthorised releases,” commented the management team.

It further read, “This is a time for mourning and reflection, not heartless money grabs and attention seeking.”

For Aaron Carter’s fans, it would be an honour to read about the celebrity’s  life infused with high as well as low moments. The author has done immense work getting into the nuances of Aaron’s life. It took three years of interviews to create this memoir. The timing of the release of the book however  is what many might be uncomfortable with.

Aaron’s management also desires “removal of unauthorised content and requested nothing else be released without approval from his family, friends, and associates.”

Aaron’s death is afresh and the release of his memoir might make the grieving process painful for those who knew him closely.
