Actor Asif Basra Found Dead in Dharamshala
Bollywood actor Asif Basra allegedly died by suicide at a private guest house in Himachal Pradesh.
Bollywood actor Asif Basra, known for his roles in films like Hichki, Jab We Met, Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai, Kai Po Che and more recent web series Paatal Lok, Hostages passed away today.
According to media reports, the actor was found hanging in a private complex in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh. A forensic team has arrived to investigate the matter.
Talking about the incident, Himachal Pradesh SSP Kangra Vimukt Ranjan told ANI, “Film actor Asif Basra was found hanging in a private complex in Dharamshala. Forensic team is at the spot and police are investigating the matter.”
Mr. Basra was born in Maharashtra's Amravati in 1967. Later he moved to Mumbai in 1989 to pursue his acting career.
