Actress Samantha Prabhu Shares a Carousel of Photos, Signaling New Beginnings
Samantha Prabhu Steps into the Role of Producer for ‘Subham’, Shares Exclusive Stills and Behind-the-Scenes Moments.
Samantha Prabhu has donned a new role, that of a producer.
As always, the actress has taken her new role very seriously. Reports suggest that she is actively promoting her latest film ‘Subham’ as a producer.
Days before the release of ‘Subham’, the actress shared a bunch of beautiful photos, which showcase some stills from the movie, a snap with Director Raj Nidimoru and few pictures with the crew.
Sharing the photos on social media, Samantha captioned her post, “It's been a long road, but here we are. New beginnings @tralalamovingpictures. #Subham releases on May 9th.”
Samantha Prabhu and Director Raj Nidimoru have previously worked together on The Family Man and Citadel Honey Bunny.
There has been speculation that the two are in a relationship; however, both have maintained a dignified silence on the subject.
Raj is married to a lady named Shhyamali De, and the couple share a daughter. Samantha was previously married to actor Naga Chaitanya. The couple parted ways in 2021 after 4 years of marriage.
Samantha’s debut production venture Subham is all set for a grand release on May 9. Directed by Praveen Kandregula, this Telugu-language horror-comedy features debutants Harshith Reddy and Gavireddy Srinivas, with Samantha making a cameo appearance as Maata.
The actress spoke on the important topic of equal remuneration during a media interaction in Hyderabad. She admitted that she firmly believes in “equal skill, equal remuneration, and equal experience.”
She was asked if she would work with stars under her newly launched production venture ‘Tralala productions.’ The actress responded: “I never say never. Under Tralala Productions, I want to be very careful about every aspect. I believe in equal skill, equal remuneration, and equal experience. It was easy for this film, as everyone was a newcomer.” She added, “I know that different kinds of films have different requirements. As much as possible, I want to make sure that there is equal skill, equal pay and equal experience.”
She is also producing the Tamil version of music reality show MTV Hustle, titled MTV Hustle Namma Pettai. The venture marks her first venture into the music reality show domain under her production house.
Samantha's diverse projects in 2025 reflect her commitment to exploring various genres and mediums, from horror-comedy films to action-packed digital series and music reality shows.
