One of the most talented actors Indian cinema, Ajay Devgan is soon to come through with his 100th film, a periodic biographical drama. And guess who sends good wishes, his friend Shahrukh Khan.

The first Ajay Devgan special poster of ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’, which is a historical feature film is riding high on trends today. And King Khan made sure mate Ajay Devgan’s 100th film celebration gets that special attention:

 

Ajay Devgan, the 50-year-old performer although gained prominence during the 90s mostly through the mainstream Bolly flicks, over the years the ‘Omkara’ actor eventually earned the reputation of one of the most diverse Indian actors, for both in typical Hindi films, as well as offbeat cinema, simultaneously.

Now also a director and producer debuted with 2016 drama-thriller ‘Shivaay’ making over ₹165 crores in the box office.

‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’, Ajay Devgn, Bhushan Kumar has also dropped its first official trailer today, which of course, stands apart in every manner. Collaging the seasoned actor’s 30 years of journey in different moods, emotions, using the clips from his films, seems to be a fresh style for a trailer. Take a look:


The plot of the film thrives in the 17th century portraying Tanaji Malusare, the military leader in the army of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, founder of the Maratha Empire. As Ajay Devgn will be seen depicting Subhedar Tanaji Malusare, other eminent actors like Saif Ali Khan as Uday Bhan, Sharad Kelkar as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Jagapati Babu as Shelaar Mama, Pankaj Tripathi as Mirza Raja Jai Singh, Neha Sharma as Kamla Devi, Luke Kenny as Aurangzeb will be gracing the biopic. Ajay Devgan’s better half Kajol will be playing Savitri Malusare, in a guest appearance.
