Alia Bhatt is Set to Make Her Hollywood Debut with ‘Heart of Stone’

Alia Bhatt is basking in the glory of the success of her new film Gangubai Kathiawadi. The actress’ excellent portrayal of Gangubai has been applauded by audiences.

Her acting skills, expressions, and dialogue delivery have been greatly appreciated by fans and for some, her performance was above expectations.

The plot of the film and the message that the film sends across seems to have struck the right chord with the audiences. 

Besides receiving amazing reviews from critics, the film has now entered the 100 crore club.

 Alia has added another feather in her already feathered cap. She is now working towards making her Hollywood debut. 

The film titled ‘Heart of Stone’ would feature Wonder Woman Gal Gadot and Fifty Shades of Grey actor Jamie Dornan. The movie will be directed by Tom Harper. 

Netflix shared the exciting news in an Instagram post on Tuesday: “Starting our day by announcing that @aliaabhatt is going to be starring in Heart of Stone, an international spy thriller along with @gal_gadot and @jamiedornan.” 

Alia’s role in the film hasn’t been revealed so far. Gal Gadot will however play the titular character as Rachel Stone. 

According to the logline in Netflix, the film revolves around Rachel Stone (Gadot) an intelligence operative, the only woman who stands between her powerful, global, peace-keeping organization and the loss of its most valuable - and dangerous - asset.

It would indeed be exciting to witness Alia Bhatt share screen presence with two recognized global stars on an international platform. 

It’s left to be seen if the actress will outshine in her international project like she always does. Only time will reveal.
