Amazon CEO’s Phone Hacked

The personal phone of Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos is hacked. An investigation so far has revealed that the access to the personal data of Amazon’s chief is linked to Saudi Arabian authorities.

American Author and Security Specialist, Gavin de Becker, who is investigating the matter has linked the hacking to the extensive coverage of the murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi last year by The Washington Post newspaper, which is owned by Bezos.

Gavin de Becker has written on The Daily Beast website, “Our investigators and several experts concluded with high confidence that the Saudis had access to Bezos’s phone, and gained private information”.

Becker also said that the role of Bezos’s mistress brother needs to be investigated as it has been found that he was paid by the National Enquirer for the release of some specific information.

Gavin de Becker also wrote, It is clear that MBS considers The Washington Post to be a major enemy referring to Saudi Arabia’s powerful Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman popularly known as MBS, whom the US Senate has named as ‘responsible’ for the murder after a closed-door briefing by the CIA.

Becker gave only a few details about the investigation that led him to the conclusion that the kingdom was responsible in his write up. He did not specify which part of the Saudi government could be held responsible for the hacking, but he indicated as he further wrote, the results “have been turned over to federal officials”.

Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos has hired Gavin de Becker & Associates to investigate how his intimate text photos and messages have made their way into the hands of the National Enquirer, which has reported the Amazon chief’s extramarital affair thoroughly, which led to his divorce.

Jeff Bezos has also accused the publisher of National Enquirer, American Media Inc owned by David Pecker, who has blackmailed Bezos and threatened to publish the intimate photos of his if he does not stop the investigation about the murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi and the serial publication of the stories related to it in The Washington Post.

The Amazon chief declined to do so, instead, he published the copies of the emails he received from American Media Inc popularly known as AMI.

Saudi Arabia has defended itself saying that the crown prince MBS is not involved in the killing of Khashoggi, who was also the contributing columnist for The Washington Post. Riyadh initially declined its association with the murder saying it had no knowledge of his fate, but later blamed the murder of the Journalist on the rogue agents.
