Amber Heard Exits Twitter after Elon Musk’s Takeover of The Micro Blogging Platform

The latest development after Elon Musk’s takeover of Twitter is that actress Amber Heard has deleted her account from the micro blogging platform.

For those unversed, Amber Heard was in a relationship with Elon from 2016 to 2018 after her divorce from Johnny Depp.

Elon was supposed to testify in the recent controversial defamation trial albeit he didn’t participate in the legal proceedings.

The person who discovered Amber’s absence from Twitter was YouTuber Matthew Lewis (also known as That Umbrella Guy).

He tweeted, “Amber Heard has deleted her Twitter.” He also shared a shot of her account which read, “This account doesn't exist."

It’s not clear though why the account had been deleted.

Some observers assume that it has to do with her earlier relationship with her ex boyfriend Elon. Despite past controversies, Amber has always been active on social media platforms such as Instagram and exiting from Twitter was an unexpected move.

Others who have reportedly left Twitter are Toni Braxton, actress Shonda Rhimes, and retired professional wrestler Mick Foley, according to NBC News.

Amber Heard has maintained a low profile since the infamous defamation trial against ex husband Johnny Depp. Depp was awarded $10 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive damages.

After the verdict Heard expressed that she desires to spend more time with her child Oonagh Paige who was born through surrogacy.

The actress was recently spotted  spending time with her daughter and her partner Bianca Butti in Spain shortly after the verdict of the trial was declared.
