American Rapper Kanye West Announces That He’ll Run for the President’s Post

American Rapper Kanye West has made a shocking announcement that he is going to run for the presidential elections against Donald Trump whom he admires the most and Democratic candidate Joe Biden.

“We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future, I am running for president of the United States!” the billionaire rapper tweeted on America’s Independence day.

Kanye’s wife Kim Kardashian retweeted his words while she replied to his tweet with a US Flag emoji.

Fans and followers on twitter reacted to his surprising announcement and soon his name climbed the trending charts.

Elon Musk wrote, “You have my support.”

Though West has made the announcement his name does not appear on the Federal Election Commission (FEC) for November's election.

He has not mentioned whether he will be affiliated to any of the major parties and it would be impossible at this stage to tie up with any of the parties as the elections are just four months away.

If he is contesting as an independent candidate he would have to gather signatures and register in the states before the deadline.

In 2018 the 43 year old rapper made an impressive entry into the White House while Trump was seated on his desk. The American Rapper wore a ‘Make America Great Again’ hat. “I love this guy right here," West said, walking behind the desk to hug Donald Trump. Trump retorted, “That’s really nice.”

Kanye has been dropping hints that he would run for the presidential post several years back. Last year he said that he would run for the President’s post in 2024. It is left to be seen if his words finally come to pass or if this was just a publicity stunt.
