Sarita who belongs to a typical middle-class family is the sole breadwinner while her husband Sushant is without a job. She works as a cashier in a bank while Sushant is still waiting for that big break! 

After being woken up by a noise from the kitchen in the middle of the night, Sarita is shocked to discover something strange in the kitchen sink. The sink had been clogged lately. 

She discovers bundles of money covered in plastic.

The woman who is struggling to run her family is overwhelmed to discover currency and her life transforms thereafter. Her neighbours begin to turn to her for favours, she becomes a spendthrift and it even changes the relation quotient with her husband. Finally life had changed for the better!

In a twist of events, one day her servant Tai comes running and screaming in shock, “The 1,000 note has gone. Modi has discontinued them.” Sarita’s world comes crashing down as now her newly discovered green notes have lost their value. 

The only person who is purely happy in this situation is her husband as he has nothing to lose and he goes on to comment, “ab aayenge ache din”.
