Archie’s Christmas Wishes for This Year Revealed by Meghan Markle

Meghan Markle recently revealed that her son Archie, along with Prince Harry, has taken a liking to photography. 

They were inspired by long time friend, photographer and director Misan Harriman.

Meghan served as a moderator after the screening of Netflix's short film The After with the film’s director Misan Harriman and the film’s star David Oyelowo. 

The chat took place at a private residence in Montecito, California, where Meghan lives with Prince Harry, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. 

Meghan said “Misan was showing him how to do photography the last time he was with us. I bought Archie a camera and he said, 'But it's not a Leica like Misan.”

“I said, ‘You are not getting a Leica! Not even for Christmas!’” Meghan further expressed. 

Speaking of photography, the royal family always had a penchant for the same. You’d often spot the queen with cameras including a Leica in horse shows when her husband would be competing for carriage driving. 

Even Prince Harry took over National Geographic’s Instagram page and got their photographs featured in the page during their royal tour of Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga in the fall of 2018.

So even though Archie won’t be getting the German camera, he can still look forward to a wonderful Christmas with his sister Lilibet. 

Meghan said in an October interview that the family are creating new traditions for the holiday season. 

Meghan Markle, Prince Harry, Archie, and Lillibet will be spending Christmas in private this holiday season.
