Ariana Grande Confirms Break-up with Mac Miller on Instagram and Fans are Sad
The singer duo end their two-year relationship.
Ariana Grande and Mac Miller have decided to call it quits after dating for two years. The two have decided to part ways because of their hectic schedule and work pressure. However, there are no bad feelings between them. They are splitting cordially and they will still remain friends. They have been a support to each other and will continue supporting and encouraging each other in their future endeavors.
Ariana Grande, 24 and Mac Miller, 26 first began dating in 2016 during a music collaboration. They fell in love when they sang the hit single-“The Way.”
While they were together, they performed together on stage several times for their eager fans.
Ariana let the world know about the break up by posting a cute and emotional message on Instagram that read, "Hi! This is one of my best friends in the whole world and favorite people on the planet Malcolm McCormick," she went on saying, "I respect and adore him endlessly and am grateful to have him in my life in any form, at all times regardless of how our relationship changes or what the universe holds for each of us!"
She added, "Unconditional love is not selfish. It is wanting the best for that person even if at the moment, it’s not you. I can’t wait to know you and support you forever and I’m so proud of you!!"
Only on April 20, the “Smile Back” singer shared a photo of Grande on Twitter, promoting her single “No Tears Left To Cry,” and he wrote: “very proud of this girl right here. Welcome back. We missed you. One of a kind.”
No one expected this to happen so soon. They were also pictured together at Madonna’s Oscar afterparty. They looked a happy couple and quite content together.
However, Grande walked the red carpet at the Met Gala, alone. This was a strong hint they have decided to break up.
Fans have taken the news quite badly and are not happy about their break-up.
One grieving fan wrote-“Ariana Grande confirmed via her Instagram Story that they broke up with Malcolm Mccormick (aka Mac Miller) but stay best friends. I'm sad, because I saw them as a goal couple, with a most lovely couple relationship," one fan tweeted. "But life is life. And obviously, both are still exceptional!"
