Ashton Kutcher to Testify in Hollywood Ripper’s Trial Involving the Murder of Kutcher’s Ex

Actor Ashton Kutcher may have to testify in a trial of a man who allegedly murdered Ashton’s ex-girlfriend- Ashley Ellerin years ago. The serial killer’s nickname is “Hollywood Ripper” though his original name is Michael Gargiulo. The trial for this shocking case began this Thursday.

Ashton Kutcher was dating Ashley Ellerin; a fashion student, the night she was murdered. He was only 23 while she was 22. The actor was just starting his career as ‘Michael Kelso’ in ‘That 70’s Show’ when he met Ashley Ellerin in a Hollywood party. Ashley was a glamorous young woman who was a socialite too. The actor has always remained silent on this unfortunate incident until now. He gave a testimony to the police with chilling details describing the night she was killed.

As per reports, he received a call from Ashley Ellerin as she was planning a party date that night. He refused the night out however he promised to meet her later that night. He called her twice thinking that she might have been upset but the calls were dropped. He put it down to bad reception. He then drove over to her bungalow at 10:45 pm which is opposite Grauman’s Chinese Theatre.

Her maroon BMW car was parked out and the lights inside her bungalow were still lit. He knocked at her door but there was no response. He then called out to her. No response again. When he peeped through the front window, he saw red stains that led to the bedroom. He assumed it to be red wine stains. Not receiving any response, he left.

It was also the night of the 43rd Annual Grammy Awards, so Kutcher also assumed that the Grammy Award celebration may have got tad messy. The truth was that the young woman was stabbed 47 times and was lying dead right there beyond Ashton’s view. The red stains were her blood and not red wine. Stabbed beyond recognition!

Her body was found by her roommate early next morning.

Who is the ‘Hollywood Ripper’?

The ‘Hollywood Ripper’ also known as ‘Chiller Killer’ was arrested in 2008 for an attempt to murder his neighbor Michelle Murphy. She fought with him and managed to escape. During investigations, the Police got to know that he murdered Tricia Pacaccio,18, his neighbour on Aug. 14, 1993, in his hometown of Glenview, Illinois. She was stabbed 47 times and her body was found the next morning by her father. The ‘Hollywood Ripper’ then moved to California in 1998 where he committed two more murders and attempted a third. It is believed that Ashton’s ex-girlfriend was his second victim and another girl by the name of Maria Bruno was his third whom he killed in 2005.

Michael Gargiulo was Ashley Ellerin’s neighbor and even repaired the heater in her home. According to Ellerin’s friends, he would show up at Ellerin’s home at odd hours and would also sit in his car at the end of her street. The description of the crimes reveals that this serial killer is a potent threat to American Society, especially to women.

Revisiting old painful memories through the trial would no doubt be a daunting task for Ashton Kutcher however his testimony is supposed to be crucial for prosecutors.
