Audi And Other Cars Worth 50 Lakh Drown in Gujrat Torrential Rain

Gujrat has been facing immense torrential downpours since Sunday which has created mass havoc in the state. Close to 1800 people are evacuated from the risk-prone zones and 300 have been rescued. While the total number of deaths due to heavy downpours is assumed to be close to 30. IMD has issued a warning for the state and heavy downpours till August 30th.

A man took to Reddit to post pictures of his 3 cars that drowned in the heavy downpour. In the photo, a Maruti Ciaz, a Ford Ecosport, and an Audi A3 were seen plunged into water caused by immense rainfall and waterlogging-like situations. The Photo emerged out of Vadodara which is highly affected because of excessive rainfall.

“There's nothing left to live for anymore...All the 3 cars mentioned in my flair are now gone” claimed the man on his Reddit post. The user also claimed that close to 7 to 8 feet of water was plunged in the parking for which no one could come to tow the cars.

In his frustration, he further added, "This is like the 3rd time I'm facing this. Twice in my previous society (with completely different cars) and the first time in 4 years at this new place. There’s 7-8 ft water outside no one can come in till the water goes down."

Thousands of people expressed their sorrow over the matter as the entire state is under threat. The man while expressing his grief said "I wish we could hold municipal corporations accountable for waterlogging of this magnitude. It's done in the UK. This is the only we can make sure we get the service we deserve. Just heartbreaking seeing cars ruined for no fault of our own.”
