Avery Dennison Strengthens Foothold in Eastern India & Bangladesh

NYSE-listed $7.2 billion Avery Dennison, a global leader in material science and functional material, has now kicked off its ‘Distribution and Slitting Center’ in Kolkata, which will be the center to supply label and graphic materials to the Eastern India market and Bangladesh. This is the company’s fourth distribution center in India and first in the eastern part of India.

Spread across an area of 31, 341 sq feet, this center is also equipped with state-of-the-art slitting equipment as well as the capacity to house one million sq meters of inventory, strengthening the delivery capabilities, in support of the business growth for the India operations. This is a strategic move catering to the material demand for West Bengal, North East and Bangladesh businesses.
