Baby Archie Is Christened; Two Photographs Released to Mark the Occasion

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s son Baby Archie has finally been christened on July 6 in the presence of close family and friends. The christening took place at Queen Elizabeth’s private chapel at Windsor Castle. The new parents selected this place as they wanted the whole ceremony to be “peaceful and intimate.”
The ceremony was attended by 25 people that includes Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland, Prince Charles and wife Camila- Duchess of Cornwall, Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Princess Diana’s sisters Lady Sarah McCorquodale and Lady Jane Fellowes. Archie Harrison Mountbatten Windsor was baptized by the Archbishop of Canterbury in the private chapel.

There has been no television coverage for this event and neither the press had been invited for the occasion. The Queen too couldn’t attend the event due to a prior engagement.
The parents of Baby Archie have also decided not to reveal the names of the godparents.

Meghan Markle adorned a long white-sleeved Dior dress with a matching headgear. Kate Middleton wore a beautiful pink Stella McCartney dress and a Juliette Botteril headband to go with it. It was truly a great gesture on Kate’s part to wear the same pearl earrings that Lady Diana wore several years back for her own son-Prince Harry’s christening. An amazing tribute to Lady Diana indeed!

After recent images of Baby Archie have been released, royal fans are divided on whether the baby looks more like Meghan or Harry. One Twitter user wrote, “Archie is so beautiful and cute. I see he got his dad's ginger hair.” Another user posted, “It could be my eyes but the more I look at Archie, he appears to be a ginger.” There were others who believed otherwise. One fan said on Instagram: “He's such a cutie!!! Looks a lot like Meghan too!!”
While Royal watchers are divided when it comes to deciding the looks of Baby Archie, only time will reveal who the ‘seventh-in-line’ to the throne would look like, in the years to follow.
