BJP MP Gautam Gambhir Receives Death Threats Allegedly from ISIS Kashmir
Former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir has received death threats in the form of emails allegedly from ISIS Kashmir.
Former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir has received death threats in the form of emails allegedly from ISIS Kashmir.
The cricketer has approached the Delhi police and has lodged a complaint on Tuesday night.
The authenticity of the emails will be verified by the police.
The BJP MP’S house in Rajendra Nagar has been tightened with security.
DCP Central Shweta Chauhan has said that the police are looking into the case and investigations are underway.
Gaurav Arora, PS to Gautam Gambhir wrote a letter to DCP central district:
“This is further to our telecommunication, we have received an email from ISIS Kashmir on the official email ID of Gautam Gambhir on Tuesday evening. The mail states death threat to MP and his family. I therefore request you to look into the matter and make adequate security arrangement.”
The 40 year old cricketer turned politician received death threats even in December 2019 and had approached the police even then.
