Bollywood Singer KK Dies during Gurudas College Function in Kolkata

KK the popular musician died during a function at Gurudas College in Calcutta today. The program was going on at Nazrul Mancha. His body was handed over to the police for autopsy. He arrived in Kolkata with his team from Mumbai on Monday.

Krishnakumar Kunnath popularly known as KK, was an Indian playback singer. He has recorded songs in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Bengali, Assamese and Gujarati languages films. 

His debut album “Pal” was released in April 1999. His performance on the album received a Star Screen Award from Screen India for Best Male Singer. The singer, who has crooned approximately 500 songs in almost two decades of his Bollywood career, has been the voice of Salman for songs like “Tadap tadap ke” and “Humko pyaar hua”.
