Now, Britney has decided to take a break from taking care of her father and has decided to indulge in some ‘Me Time.’ The Grammy winner has enrolled herself into a mental health facility as she wants to balance her own health as well as taking care of her father’s condition.

Taking care of a seriously ill person, especially a loved one, takes a toll on your own well being and thus it can be easily ascertained what Britney must be going through. It would be unquestionably tough for Britney given that she shares a special bond with her dad. Sources have told PEOPLE, “Britney's father's health has been weighing on her, and affecting her emotional well-being” and that’s the reason she’s decided to “take time for herself.”

Britney’s father has been a great influence in her life. It was Jamie who managed her business and financial interests for years. Years back when Britney was in a hospital for psychiatric evaluation, the judge had appointed Jamie as conservator of her estate along with two other lawyers. Eventually, the conservatorship was made permanent to make things simpler for Britney.

On Wednesday, the actress also took to Instagram after a long hiatus and posted a message which read, “Fall in love with taking care of yourself. Mind. Body. Spirit.” She captioned the post with these lines, “We all need to take time for a little 'me time.’”

The singer has also been receiving a lot of support from her present boyfriend Sam Asghari who praised Britney for her “strength” after she checked into the facility. When the news spread on social media about her checking into the facility, he posted, “It isn't weakness. It's a sign of absolute strength, people should only be inspired by this, at least I am.”

A source told E! News, "Sam has stuck by her side throughout all of her recent struggles and knows that this is just a phase in Britney's life that they will have to adjust to right now." The source adds that Sam is a source of strength to her and he’s doing everything in his power to make her feel better in this trying period.

Britney, 37, has two kids. 13-year-old Sean Federline and 12-year-old Jayden James Federline from her former husband Kevin Federline. She’s currently dating Sam Asghari and according to Sam, she’s been a “blessing” to him.
