CamScanner App Removed from Play Store Due to Malicious Trojan Dropper Attack!
The latest app on Google Play Store to get malware-laden is CamScanner. It’s been removed by Google, delete it right away if it’s on your phone!
CamScanner app has turned malware-laden and it has been removed by Google Play Store.
The recent versions of CamScanner arrived with an advertising library, that contains a malicious module. This malicious Trojan Dropper module has been identified as "Trojan-Dropper.AndroidOS.Necro.n” and sources claim that it had been observed previously in a few Chinese Apps.
CamScanner that already has more than 100 million downloads has been pretty useful in converting documents into pdf format.
Due to the latest malicious contamination, it is highly suggested that you uninstall/delete the app from your android phone, as it may show intrusive ads and sign you up for paid subscriptions.
