Chilling Video Shows Delhi Woman Being Dragged Underneath Baleno Car

A chilling CCTV footage shows a young woman’s body being dragged under a car’s undercarriage after her scooty was hit in Delhi.

An eye-witness Deepak Dahiya who runs a confectionery shop on Kanjhawala road in Ladpur village saw the woman being dragged under the car in the wee hours of Sunday morning.

Her scooty collided with the car while she was on her way home. Her clothes got ripped apart due to the accident.

The new footage confirms that the victim’s body was dragged under the car for an hour.

According to the witness, the driver of the Maruti Baleno car dragged the body of the girl for about 18 to 20 kms.

“It was 3:20 am...I was standing outside the shop when I heard a loud noise from a vehicle about 100 metres away. Earlier I thought it was a tire burst. As soon as the car moved, I saw a body being dragged. I informed the police immediately," Mr Dahiya told news agency ANI.

“I tried to stop them many times, but they did not stop the vehicle. For about one-and-a-half hours, they carried the girl's body for about 20 km,” he said.

The witness kept chasing the car on bike and was in constant touch with the police.

The accused kept travelling on the same road and took multiple U Turns.

Only when the body fell the accused fled, the witness said.

“It could not be just an accident,” Mr Dahiya stressed.

The police found the woman’s naked body on the road. The crime team and forensics reached the spot for investigation while her body was sent to SGM Hospital in Mangolpuri.

The arrested accused have been identified as Deepak Khanna (26), Amit Khanna (25), Krishan (27), Mithun (26) and Manoj Mittal (27). Investigations on this case are on.
