Global icon Deepika Padukone has scripted history by becoming the first Indian to serve as a juror for the prestigious Louis Vuitton (LVMH) Prize 2025. The Bollywood actress joined an elite panel that includes international fashion heavyweights such as Stella McCartney, Marc Jacobs, Pharrell Williams, Nicolas Ghesquière, and Sarah Burton.

Padukone, known for her commanding screen presence and global influence, was officially announced as part of the LVMH Prize jury through Louis Vuitton’s official Instagram handle. The statement read:

 “DEEPIKA PADUKONE FOR LOUIS VUITTON: 2025 LVMH PRIZE JURY MEMBER. We are delighted to announce that the iconic Deepika Padukone will join this year’s LVMH Prize final jury. Known for her powerful performances and strong global influence, Deepika continues to inspire audiences across the world.”

The actress turned heads with her striking appearance in Paris, where she attended the LVMH Prize finale. Donning a signature Louis Vuitton ensemble, Deepika wore an oversized silk shirt featuring abstract prints, paired with a mini skirt adorned with fringe detailing. She completed the look with golden earrings, high heels, and a sleek black purse.

Sharing a glimpse of her look on Instagram, Deepika expressed her admiration for the emerging designers recognized at the event.

 “Congratulations to all the winners! I cannot wait for the world to witness your magic!” she captioned her post.

Actor Ranveer Singh, Deepika's husband, publicly extended his heartfelt support for her historic achievement. The couple has often been in the spotlight for their mutual admiration and encouragement of each other’s professional milestones.

Apart from Padukone, the jury for the 2025 edition of the LVMH Prize includes industry legends such as: Stella McCartney, Marc Jacobs,Nicolas Ghesquière, Sarah Burton, Phoebe Philo, Jonathan Anderson, Silvia Venturini Fendi, Nigo, and Pharrell Williams.

The LVMH Prize, launched in 2013, is one of the most prestigious awards in the global fashion industry, aimed at identifying and nurturing young design talent.

On the film front, Deepika Padukone is gearing up for two major releases. She will be seen in director Atlee’s much-anticipated sci-fi thriller starring South superstar Allu Arjun. Tentatively titled AA22 x A6, the pan-India project is being produced by Sun Pictures.

Additionally, she will star opposite Shah Rukh Khan in the film King, further cementing her position among the top-tier names in Indian cinema.
