As the year comes to an end, Dell in India has announced the latest addition to its flagship Inspiron series – the new Inspiron 5480 and Inspiron 5580. Touted as one of the best in class 5000 series laptops from Dell, the new range delivers performance of the much-awaited Whiskey Lake 8th Generation Intel ® Core TM in i3, i5 & i7 processor variants, coupled with superior screen quality via full HD anti-glare IPS display and the much-coveted Dell Cinema software, for an immersive entertainment experience.

The Dell Inspiron portfolio is designed to match style with sophistication. Borrowing from XPS design philosophy, the two variants come with, narrow borders that emphasize the screen and help minimize distractions, so users can watch favorite shows or work in style. A 3-sided narrow border is available on the 14” and a 2-sided narrow border on the 15”. For users who collaborate on a video, on the 14” a miniaturized, 4-element lens webcam offers improved performance and utilizes Temporal Noise Reduction that greatly increases image quality, even in low-light.

Lightweight notebooks from Dell have been increasing in demand; the new Inspiron variants have a starting weight of 1.48 kilograms. Coupled with the state-of-the-art display and metal finish, these notebooks are classy, portable and a head turner!
