Demi Moore Crowned as The World’s Most Beautiful Woman
PEOPLE magazine crowns Demi Moore as the world’s most beautiful woman.
Demi Moore was crowned the world’s most beautiful woman by PEOPLE magazine on Tuesday. The Hollywood actress has embraced this new title with grace and poise, adding another milestone to her life.
Her journey to self-acceptance, embracing both her imperfections and strengths, was far from easy, filled with challenges at every turn.
This moment of accepting her new title, however, is about embracing who she is and letting go of external pressures.
Demi Moore won a Golden Globe earlier this year for her role in The Substance.
In the movie, she plays Elisabeth Sparkle, a woman grappling with aging and searching for her identity. Portraying the character gave her a sense of liberation.
During her award speech, she said, “You can never be enough by someone else’s standards. But you can know your worth when you stop measuring.”
When she was younger, she had a different mindset and set higher standards for herself. Years have passed, and so has her mindset!
In an interview with PEOPLE, she said, “I did torture myself. Crazy things like biking from Malibu all the way to Paramount, which is about 26 miles. All because I placed so much value on what my outsides looked like.”
“I think the biggest difference today is that it’s so much more about my overall health, longevity, and quality of life. I think I’ve evolved into a greater gentleness toward myself.
“I was so harsh and had a much more antagonistic relationship with my body. And straight up, I was really just punishing myself,” Moore said.
Now, she takes greater care of her body, focusing more on her health."
“I trust when it tells me it needs something to eat, that it’s thirsty. I listen to my body today, and I have a lot less fear,” she continued. “When I was younger, I felt like my body was betraying me. And so I just tried to control it. And now I don’t operate from that place. It’s a much more aligned relationship.”
Her wellness routine involves “short meditation [and] journaling.” She eats nutrient-dense foods, including eggs, although she avoids meat.
“I don’t eat meat. I do eat eggs,” she explained. “But I think a big part of wellness is really inside out. And I’ve come to realize how important sleep is. I mean, I’m not perfect. I still drink Red Bull. I do love it. But not many. One.”
Demi Moore’s life has been nothing short of a roller coaster ride—from a troubled childhood and turbulent marriages to a career marked by successes and controversies, as well as struggles with addiction and body image.
Despite this, the multifaceted actress is admired by many for her resilience, vulnerability, boldness, and openness.
