Disturbing Video of Woman Pointing Gun at Passengers And Being Rammed Down Goes Viral
A viral social media post features a video from America depicting a agitated woman aiming a gun at passing traffic within a bustling intersection.
A video of a disturbed woman in America pointing a gun at traffic in the middle of a busy intersection has gone viral on social media.
She was at the intersection of Bellmore and Jerusalem avenues in North Bellmore.
After pointing the gun at traffic, she walks backwards and then turns the gun at herself before a police car quickly rams her and knocks her down. She sustained only minor injuries.
Three other police officers ran towards her and pushed her to the ground. Amidst the struggle she again tried to reach for the gun.
The incident took place in Nassau County on Tuesday afternoon.
NBC New York said that the 33 year old woman fired the gun once in the air and she pointed the gun at other cars while she was crossing the road thereby posing a threat to passengers.
The unidentified woman’s eccentric behaviour is under investigation.
The cop driver who rammed into the woman was taken to a separate hospital to be treated for trauma. Commissioner Patrick Ryder hailed the cop a hero.
“They did an outstanding job. They faced down deadly physical force against the civilians and themselves and they used their vehicle to stop their threat,” he said.
