Ex-Model Divya Pahuja Murder Case: Blue BMW Car Traced But Not Victim’s Body

Former model, Divya Pahuja, was allegedly killed in a Gurgaon hotel on Tuesday by the owner of City Point Hotel.  

CCTV footage showed men dragging her body wrapped in a blanket, in the corridor at 10:45 PM before pushing her into a blue BMW car. 

According to the police, the victim, 27, was shot in the head as she possessed some objectionable photographs of the hotel owner Abhijeet Singh and blackmailed him. 

The police were successful in arresting three members including the owner of City Point Hotel on Wednesday. The BMW car was found in Patiala, Punjab on Thursday however the victim’s body hasn’t been recovered yet. 

The main accused Abhijeet Singh handed the body to accomplice Balraj Gill alias Hemraj, around a kilometre away from the hotel. 

Mr Singh, 56, knew the victim for the past three months. 

Previously, Pahuja was involved in a fake encounter case of a Gurugram gang member Sandeep Gadoli for which she was incarcerated for seven years. Pahuja, who was reportedly in a relationship with Gadoli, was granted bail in June last year. 

Many police officers were arrested when it came to light that the encounter was fake. 

Pahuja’s family are awaiting the news of her body which is yet to be recovered. 

Her mother Sonia said, “She never even raised her voice at anyone. She was inspired by the lawyer who appeared for her (in the case) and wanted to learn from her. I can’t wrap my head around the fact that she is gone.”
