Facebook F8 Brings Remarkable Changes on the Biggest Social Media Platform

The annual Facebook F8 conference in San Jose, California witnessed a gathering of tech folks, entrepreneurs and startup owners, where Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced some vital changes that the social media users will experience by the end of this year.

Social media giant Facebook is planning changes and they have made it official this Tuesday. So, what are the adaptations that Facebook is going to implement in 2018?

1.You Can Clear Your History

Similar to clearing browsing history from Chrome you can now clear the history of your Facebook interactions, you’ll get the option in Privacy Tools. Zuckerberg defines it as, “This is the kind of control that we think people should have,”. Well, after the Cambridge Analytica data breach scandal where the personal information of millions of users were unethically extracted and used, Mark Zuckerberg was bound to amplify Facebook’s security settings. It seems, he’s keeping his word and this new feature will serve as the first step. As, one user’s off-Facebook actions now can be kept separated, one would be able to disable Facebook from following or tracking rest of your device data.

2. Facebook Can be Your Official Dating Site

Receiving friend requests from unknown profiles or getting proposals from strangers is quite regular on Facebook. But now, Facebook is going to have dating features for its users. Those who are single can create their dating profiles and connect with potential matches. Moreover, the people on your friendlist won’t be able to view or know about this dating profile of yours. Unlike Tinder, Facebook is concentrating on long-term relationships rather than hookups.

3. Enjoy Video Chatting

With the increasing speed in lifestyle, the relevance of video calling is growing every day. Zuckerberg announced that Instagram will be having the video calling feature very soon. And on Whatsapp, they will be introducing group video chatting. Since 2016 Whatsapp has gone quite popular with its video calling feature and enhanced the video quality with time. The group video chatting option will get a warm welcome by the Whatsapp groups, expectedly.

The lovely augmented reality stickers and filters profoundly used on Snapchat are soon coming over to Facebook Messenger and Instagram. Will that anyhow affect the huge Snapchat followership? Well, may be yes, may be not!
