Family and Friends Remembered Sushant Singh Rajput on His First Death Anniversary

On the occasion of the late actor Sushant Singh’s death anniversary, his close colleagues and friends remembered him fondly.

Reminiscing on the good old days with her co-actor and close friend Sushant Singh, Kriti Sanon shared a captivating collage from her first-ever look test with him for the film ‘Raabta.’

In her lengthy post, she wrote, “2 complete strangers, meant to cross each other’s path,

For a film that spoke of inexplainable connection,

Based in two worlds…”

Sanon expressed that she hasn’t yet come to terms with Sushant’s untimely death and neither will she in the future.

She further stated in the note, “Today, it feels so painfully weird to know
That You and I are not in the same world anymore..
Still feels like it hasn’t happened for real.
Like maybe you are still around
and I’ll bump into you somewhere..
I don’t think it’ll EVER sink in..”

She however ended the heartfelt post on a positive note saying that she prays that he’s happy and at peace wherever he is.

Actress Shraddha Kapoor kept it simple by sharing Sushant Singh’s pic and captioning it, “Shine on, dearest Sush.”

Rhea Chakraborty also took to her Insta handle and penned down a loving note for her beloved Sushant. She began the note saying that she can’t fathom that he isn’t here anymore. She called him her “guardian angel” and was sure that he was watching over her from his “famed telescope” from the moon above.

Sara Ali Khan penned down these words: Whenever I needed help, advice or a laugh you were always there. You introduced me to the world of acting, made me believe that dreams could come true, and gave me all that I have today. Still can’t believe you’re gone. But every time I look at the stars, the rising sun or the moon I know you’re here. From Kedarnath to Andromeda.”

Priyanka Chopra, Kangana Ranaut, Sara Ali Khan, Ankita Lokhande, and his family members were among others who remembered Sushant Singh on his first death anniversary.

The late actor was found dead in his Mumbai residence last year. He was 34. His death sparked immense media attention and online criticism. Even though initially foul play was suspected, later it was confirmed that his death was a result of suicide and the murder theory was ruled out.
