Fashionista Sonam Kapoor Steals the Show at the French Riviera with Elegance and Style

After Aishwarya Rai, fashionista Sonam Kapoor has grabbed the attention of the fashion police at the French Riviera. And we must say that she’s done a fabulous job in capturing hearts of her fans with her looks and fashion picks. For her first red carpet appearance, Sonam opted to wear an exquisite fusion - off white lehenga from Ralph and Russo. She paired the ball-gown like skirt with an intricate crop top which had a flowing cape-like sleeve on one side. She adorned a pair of studs and her hair was beautifully braided that complimented her royal fusion ensemble.
The actress who wedded entrepreneur Anand Ahuja recently, walked the red carpet with mehendi clearly visible on her hands. Sonam also shared a warm moment with Pakistani actor Mahira Khan who was at the festival representing L’Oreal Paris. The actress was seen planting a kiss on Mahira’s forehead before they stepped out to make an appearance on the red carpet.
For her second carpet appearance, Sonam opted for a Vera Wang couture gown. The nude-hued piece had a corset that flowed into a big tulle skirt. In addition, the gown had a sunshine yellow train that she gracefully trailed around during her time on the red carpet alley. She adorned Jewellery that was kept minimal by Chopard and Amrapali Jewels. Her simple and natural makeup was from the blushed pink palette by L’Oreal and her long flowing hair was styled into a messy bun.
During one of her appearances at the French Riviera, Sonam rocked the Denim look by wearing a loose white shirt from Irish designer Simone Rocha with a pair of dual toned denim that was from her husband’s fashion label- Bhane. To complete the look the 32-year-old actress wore gold earrings and a dark lipstick.
The fashionista who is representing cosmetic giant L’oreal at Cannes didn’t miss the opportunity to display a slice of Indian fashion on the global platform by wearing the fusion-embellished lehenga. Sonam Kapoor is an expert when it comes to red carpet appearances and like always she wrapped up the show with her unique style and poise. It was evident that the glow of marriage also added its touch of magic on the red carpet.
