Father Drowns Two Sons for Not Excelling in Studies

A man in Andhra Pradesh dorwned his two kids for performing poorly in academics, before hanging himself in the bedroom on Friday. As per reports, the father used buckets filled with water where he drowned his kids.

The man, Vanapalli Chandra Kishor is also a of ONGC and worked as an executive assistant. The incident happned in Bhudevi's Apartment in Thotta Subharao Nagar in Kakinada and his family was celebrating Holi at the workplace.

Kishore hails from Tadepalligudem and has recently shifted to Kakinada with his wife and two others. He has two kids, Nikhil and Joshil who were found dead after police intervened. "Kishore killed his sons due to their poor academic performance, fearing they would struggle and suffer in a competitive world if they did not excel in their studies. Unable to bear this thought, he took the extreme step,"

Kishore told his wife that he had been taking the two kids to tailors to get their school uniform stitched and he left the celebrations. After he did not return to the celebration, his wife grew suspicious and upon reaching home, she found that her husband was hanging and the two kids were drowned in the water tubs.

DSP Devraj Patil claimed that before taking lives, Kishore had tied the hands and legs of the kids and threw them in the water tubs. In a suicide note recovered from Kishore stated that he was deeply saddened by the fact that his kids could not compete in academics and he could not do anything apart from taking their lives. The note further claimed the anxiety that his father has been facing for the two kids.

Kishore’s brother urged the administration to pursue a thorough investigation. His brother also claimed that Kishore was financially stable and pwned multiple asset. The police are also trying to analyze a forced murder case. Police have deployed a team to investigate the matter.

In yet another news, two boys from Mumbai drowned in the Ulhas river. Two boys ventured into the river after playing Holi. “The bodies of the four have been recovered and have been sent to Badlapur rural hospital for post-mortem,” claimed the officials. According to the sources, some students had ventured into the river after plating holy, and out of all of them, two students could not be found. After the police looked for a search party, it was found that two kids had drowned in the river.

Holi celebrations have been around the corner and many people are still not over the celebrations. Amid all the chaos and noise, these cases erupted from the different states.
