Father Installs CCTV on Daughter's Head for Her Safety
A father in Pakistan attached a camera to her Daughter’s head claiming safety reasons. People trolled her and her parents for being too strict with the safety methods.
Women's safety is among the most challenging aspects, especially in developing countries. A case from Pakistan was seen where the father of a daughter installed a CCTV camera on her head to keep her safe. The bizarre scene came to light when a photo went viral on social media. The concern of her father cannot be neglected however, the approach is quite odd and can be uncomfortable for the girl.
The father wanted to ensure that the daughter was staying safe and could monitor all forms of activities and track her in case she needed any form of help. The large CCTV camera has been minted on the head of the girl which is quite uncomfortable for her. Social media users are making sarcastic comments after the photo went viral.
One of the users claimed, “Itna bhi digital nahi hona tha” (Should not have been so digital). While the other claimed her to be “SheCTV”. This might come out as quite hilarious. However, the safety is quite concerning.
The interviewer asked the girl if she objected to installing a camera on her head. She claimed it was for her safety and her father felt it important for which she did not flag this as women's safety is extremely critical. She further claimed that recently an incident took place in Karachi where a woman was killed. Hence, her parents decided to bring this strategy as a life saving technique.
