Finally after 3 Weeks, Aryan Khan Gets Bail

Aryan Khan, the son of superstar Shah Rukh Khan, has been granted bail after more than three weeks in prison. However, he will spend another night in jail as his team can only apply for release after the Bombay High Court issues its official order tomorrow.

The Bombay High Court on Thursday heard the case for three days in a row. Judge NW Sambre granted three suspects bail after hearing Aryan Khan's former AG Mukul Rohatgi and ASG's Anil Singh of the Narcotics Control Bureau. Aryan Khan's friend, Arbaaz Merchant, and model Munmum Dhamecha, were also granted bail.

While the NCB challenged bail by repeating that Aryan Khan was not new to drugs and dealing with traffickers, Mukur Rohatgi argued that the NCB could not prove any conspiracy as he claimed.

Aryan Khan, 23, has been in custody since October 3, just hours after a drug raid on a cruise ship by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). He has been at Arthur Road Prison in Mumbai since October 8 and has been denied bail twice earlier.

The NCB, however, said he had been part of the conspiracy and his conversations on WhatsApp revealed his involvement in the illicit drug trade.

After two bail rejections, former Attorney General of India, Mukul Rohatgi, argued Aryan Khan's case before the Bombay High Court. Mr Rohatgi said the arrest was wrong and a direct infringement of his constitutional guarantees. He also told the court that the case against Aryan was built entirely on two-year-old WhatsApp chats that were "irrelevant" and had nothing to do with the cruise.

Mukul Rohatgi said, "Their case is not a coincidence, but a conspiracy. There has to be a meeting of minds. Say a telephone call between all 8. So apart from Arbaaz, none of these chaps has anything to do with me". He adds, "Apart from the people mentioned in the chart, there were two other people, one was Manav and Gaba(who invited me). They were not arrested. There is no material to allege a conspiracy. I can understand if even all ten were friends. It is true that it is difficult to prove conspiracy but facts will always speak.

Aryan Khan's father Shah Rukh Khan, 55, is one of India's biggest and most popular movie stars. Khans' Mumbai home, "Mannat", usually has a lot of fans waiting to see SRK. Over the past few weeks, points have shown unity. In the film industry. Except Salman Khan, Farah Khan, and Hrithik Roshan, few others have openly expressed their support.
