Four Minors Granted Bail in Hyderabad Sexual Assault Case

Four minors accused in the sensational Hyderabad gangrape case have been granted  bail by the Juvenile Justice board (JJB).

All four CCLs (child in conflict with law) have been released on bail on some conditions from the juvenile home where they were detained since 1st of June.

They have been directed to cooperate with the investigation officers and record their attendance in front of the District Probation Officer every first Monday of the month.

A fifth minor detained in the case will continue to remain in the juvenile home as he had approached the Telangana High Court for bail.

Saduddin Mallik, the only adult accused in the case, remains in jail.

One juvenile was allegedly seen in videos misbehaving with the girl, but was not involved in rape, police had said.

The 17 year old girl was allegedly gangraped on May 28 when she got into the car with five young men after a party in a popular pub in the upscale Jubilee Hills Area of Hyderabad.

The boys offered to drop her home. Next they went to a pastry and coffee shop where they changed their vehicle  to an Innova. Five of them were involved in the sexual assault of the minor that fateful day.
