Frequent Ambush in Bangalore, Creating a Challenge for Drivers
Bangalore witnesses a challenge in road rage even more because of non use of Kannadika language. Police enhanced patrolling and responding to road rage cases at the earliest.
Bangalore is always in the news because of the lunguisti different and how non-kanaddika are being targeted. Some videos have emerged in social media channels that claim the various threats and road rages which are impacting the people especially the ones that are coming from other states for work. In a recent video, various showrooms and stores across the city were asked to remove signboards that have other languages. Rather, a plan was proposed where the signboards should be replaced by the regional language. For businesses and stores that failed to comply, a special drive ensured the removal of all signboards that have no regional language.
As per ditioners, road rage can be defined as a situation that arises because of heated arguments between drivers and riders. This is often caused by the difference in opinions. Road rage in India has seen a spur, which is leading to immense pressure and is also challenging the peopl to drive in peace. Not just this, road rage can also impact the safety of others while keeping emergency vehicles at stake. Apart from all the states, Bangalore has witnessed more of these cases. Many times, the road rages are a source to extort money as they already have a damaged car and often look for innocent prey that cannot defend.
People, especially the ones who do not understand the regional language, often agree to pay a sum of money so that they stay out of the issue. “Sometimes, these incidents emerge from simple things like hand gestures or overtaking. People take such actions seriously, leading to arguments that escalate into violent fights and property damage,” claimed the Police Comissioner of Bengalore. Social media users have pushed many videos recorded through the Dash camera, which is helping people to stay aware and avoid the areas where deliberate attempts are being made.
While the concerns have not been disregarded by the administration and the police have made some new changes which can be quite benificial in reducing such issues. As per an advisory, the police parties have enhanced the patrolling and are now trying their bit to control the issues. They have also been instructed to answer the road rage calls without any delay as that can lead to extortion of money.
A Rowdy sheet has been introduced which will be used on the people causing road rage. “First, the police will probe the case and collect all details. Based on the evidence collected through the investigation, they will decide on opening a rowdy sheet.” The police will be checking for the
