People may believe that Gen Z can be a good fit into various industries because of their robust thinking and creativity. However, this is not the case as many CEOs are firing Gen Z employees because of various reasons. Gen Z employees are experiencing a rapid decline in industry roles. It is also believed that six out of ten Gen Z employees are being fired from their jobs because of their behavior and their willingness to work. Many CEOs claim to prefer Millenials as they have a sense of responsibility. However, because of changing trends and the availability of fresh minds, recruiters are left with no option but to recruit Gen Z workers.
A company named Intelligent.com works for the future development of the laborers surveyed more than 1000 leaders. They have claimed that most of the leaders would prefer millennials rather than considering the freshers and Gen Z employees. While some claimed that may consider the recruitment of Gen Z because of budget constraints, however, others were simply reluctant to hire and claimed that may never think about hiring a Gen Z employee.
Many leaders claimed that Motivation among Gen Z employees is much less and that many of them are extremely reluctant to their thinking and do not allow the regulations to impact them. This is creating a negative culture overall, disabling businesses for better growth. Moreover, some reasons stated by the surveyed leaders showed, disrespect, unprofessionalism, and poor communication were also some of the reasons behind the Gen Z employees being fired immediately after hiring them.
Many have asserted that the grads are not prepared for the upcoming challenges have deceived simple ideas and are not eager to take opinions from people who have been working in the font for many years. Their unprofessionalism has reached so high that their behavior starts to harm others working in the organization. While such issues are being battled by the employers, colleges already know about the issues and active steps are being taken so that such issues can be handled.
Leaders speak about the attitude of the employees for which they are not hireable as such. Taking initiative of the work and responsibilities can be beneficial in managing in having more acceptance.CEO of Intelligent.com says “Take the initiative to ask thoughtful questions, seek feedback, and apply it to show your motivation for personal growth,”. He also added, “Build a reputation for dependability by maintaining a positive attitude, meeting deadlines, and volunteering for projects, even those outside your immediate responsibilities.”
