While we secretly miss them, more powerful and upgraded engines have made us forget the long-lost stories. Some of the cars that were icons of the roads included cars from Tata, Honda, Mercedes, and Ford. As per the user's opinion, agility and efficiency were some of the strong points.
Tata Sierra- A car that was the heart of the eyes in 2000 which made every car look like a basic one. Tata has always been a pioneer in automotive and was always known to be a hard and rigid vehicle manufacturer. Sierra included a 4-cylinder straight engine and was commonly regarded as a sport utility vehicle. The news comes afloat that Tata will be bringing a new Sierra to the markets by the end of 2025.
Honda Civic- Honda is again a pioneer when it refined engine kicked-up engine. The first model of Honda Civic was manufactured in 1972 and came with a 1300 cc engine which delivered amazing performance. The car was initially a hatchback but was later made into a sedan. The last generation of Civic ensured a top-notch performance and delivered the same performance.
BMW 5 Series GT- BMW has one of the best engines and control of tires. BMW assured superb comfort and care for the passengers and the drivers. One of the commendable aspects of BMW is the fact that it always outperformed most of the cars. The 3000 cc engine was succeeded by the 6 series GT which had an even more curvy shape and was more aerodynamically friendly.
Chevrolet Tavera- The Tavera was an economical yet powerful car. It was a mid-sized SUV with a longer wheelbase. The engine was not something exceptional but it provided luxury to the people that have been using it. Chevrolet is known for its longevity and for all the people that still use Tavera, they have claimed to use the car to its full potential. Chevrolet has left India and since then, enthusiasts are waiting eagerly to witness the iconic cars of Chevrolet.
Tata Estate- Typically a saloon car, Tata again rocked the foundation of the automotive industry by bringing the best in class vehicles. Powered by a 1.9 liter, 4-cylinder engine, the estate enhanced the cargo space. When cars were trying to find a comfortable seating position, tata skipped the queue and built a car which has a larger cargo space. The discontinuation of the vehicle was heartbreaking for many enthusiasts across the world.
