Hairy Monster on Pacific Coast! An Ancient Creature or Something Even Bizarre?
Recently, an unknown creature has been spotted being washed up on the shore of the Bering Sea, on the north-eastern side of the Kamchatka Peninsula. While locals are baffled, expert views lead to some light.
Believe it or not, a huge something of a living being has been discovered on the shore of the Bering Sea, Pacific Coast! Covered with tubular fur, about more than three times the size of a human being the creature is definitely the talk of the town, around the village of Pakhachi, near the shore.

A strong odor, chalky color with a tentacle or a tail - no one could really find anything over the internet that resembles the ‘thing’. It doesn’t have any prominent face, eyes or mouth, according to the witnesses. One of them, Svetlana Dyadenko posted online, “This unidentified and strange-looking creature was washed on the shore next to the village of Pakhachi, on the north-eastern side of the Kamchatka Peninsula.”
Questions are arising on its origin. An ancient creature or some giant octopus, what is it? Or, is it some remains of a hairy mammoth? Expert views are pointing at the last probability.
Marine biologist Sergei Kornev of Kamchatka believes, the ‘thing’ could be a part of a decaying sea mammal. “Under the influence of the sea, time and various animals, from the smallest to the largest, a whale often takes on bizarre forms”. She has also mentioned, “This is only a part of a whale, not a whole one.”
But that’s is not the end of the confusion. The notion of this particular opinion gives an indication that it could be one of those globster theories. A term, coined in 1962 referring to the unidentified organic mass found washed up on the shore. One of the oldest of the carcasses is known as the ‘St. Augustine Monster’, spotted near St. Augustine, Florida, in 1896.
But do sea monsters really exist? In 1933, a photograph of Nessie or the Loch Ness Monster gained worldwide attention. According to Scottish folklore, this sea monster inhabited the Scottish Highlands.
Even in the age of digitization and cloud computing, images (though apparently fake) of mermaids, strange looking beings go viral on the web. Although there has been no strong evidence to prove the existence of such creatures, the mankind does not also wish to deny any such possibility.
The world is undoubtedly incredible. What is even incredible, are the power of our imagination and the relentless craving for knowledge.
